I have been writing this blog for about six years, but some readers may not know me. Brief history: I have been employed as a teacher and a musician, have worked in the field of nursing, and am currently a freelance writer and author in Scottsdale, Arizona.

All my books feature ordinary people who prevail against great odds. Sometimes characters must change drastically, sometimes they seem to break, to lose their former selves, yet they somehow endure and grow. Family is a recurring theme, for good or ill.

My most recent novel, Suffer the Little Children – For All the Lost Ones, is a work of fiction based upon the hard fact of child trafficking, with its terrible losses and suffering. Some characters overcome the horror and grow, some are unable to change. All are affected by the occult phenomena that sometimes accompanies evil and perversion. Suffer the Little Children, a book concerning child trafficking in Arizona, describes events a person can never forget or erase, yet the character somehow manages to change and grow.

My fourth book is called Let All Who Read This Book Be Warned – and we should be warned! This strange tale is not what you learned in Sunday School or synagogue.  It’s the occulted story of the beginning of time, its rulership, that rulership’s ultimate fall into evil and chaos, and the Creator’s decision to put humans in charge of earth. Sound like mythology? Take a look at it, and you will perceive a glimpse of truth.

Question:  Was Jesus just an itinerant preacher that just appeared one day, or did he have a pedigree and prophecy concerning all he did, from eons back in the mists of time? The latter is true, and provable. Traveling upon my favorite theme, this book is about families, for good or ill, and the ultimate triumph over evil and adversity.

Core Hollow – A book by Anne Lafferty about Off-Grid Living.

Core Hollow Quote: This book is really about impetuous love, you see, and its inevitable conclusion. Core Hollow invites you through our lost portal, that place of heart’s connection and hard-hearted truth, the place we fiercely loved, the place that ultimately changed us forever.

Some of my most intense living was spent off the grid, no utilities, survivalist, living off the land. Two of my books, Core Hollow and Hawkins Creek, describe my family’s poignant love of the land and its ultimate loss.
